Describe your work in clinical psychology:
鈥� Over the last couple months my private group practice as blossomed.听 I now have 15 associates, a majority of whom graduated from 海角乱伦, at 6 locations throughout metro Detroit.听 We offer psychological services for individuals and families, including play therapy, individual psychotherapy, and psychological testing.听 My duties here include supervision and management of all associates, as well as seeing clients.
鈥� In 2015 I started the Academy; since then I have been running weekend workshops and a week long 鈥渟ummer camp鈥� offering play therapy trainings to mental health professionals.听 I am an Association for Play Therapy approved provider, therefore my trainings can meet part of the requirements needed to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).听
海角乱伦 adjunct faculty 鈥� Since I started in 1998, I鈥檝e never really left the school!听 Shortly after graduation from the doctorate program I began supervising Master鈥檚 students for their practicum.
What do you like about your work:
I love the flexibility and variety I have as a clinical psychologist.听 Throughout the years I have discovered how much I truly love supervising clinicians and helping them grow as therapists and people.
How did 海角乱伦 prepare you for success?
海角乱伦 gave me a solid foundation in the importance of authenticity and ultimate respect for the therapeutic relationship.
