I am passionate about providing care and support to underserved populations, such as individuals experiencing homelessness or struggling with addiction.
Why did you choose º£½ÇÂÒÂ×?
I appreciate the practitioner-scholar model that is offered at º£½ÇÂÒÂ× and look forward to the opportunity to apply what I learn simultaneously.
What do you want to do with your degree?
With my degree, I hope to serve in an underserved population or community. This may include the Crisis Intervention Team being implemented into law enforcement or working in a rehabilitation setting, along with other one-on-one therapy settings.
How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?
My first real introduction to psychology was a class in my junior year of high school. I never had a class that fascinated me so much. My own struggles with mental health throughout my teenage years also drew me in the direction of my career. I longed to help others struggling like myself.
