Self-care is one of the best ways we can show ourselves kindness, and the rest of winter break provides us with the perfect opportunity to reset, reflect, and engage in self-care. Once winter break draws to an end, these can still be useful tools to help beat the winter blues. The great thing about self-care is it doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming; it just needs to be whatever makes YOU feel your best. Here are some of our recommendations for simple forms of self-care this winter:
- Establish a sleep routine
- Light a candle
- Eat a favorite meal
- Go for a nature walk
- Organize your space
- Enjoy a cup of tea
- Cozy up under a blanket and readÂ
- Start a gratitude journalÂ
- Buy flowers or a plant to liven up your space

- Take a moment to reflect on this semester: what are the things you want to keep doing and what might you want to do differently?Â
