September 1 was the official start date for 海角乱伦’s new President Dr. Fran Brown.听
Although not (strictly speaking) in September, Student Orientation marks the beginning of a new academic year at 海角乱伦.听
As always, 海角乱伦 faculty and staff took part in the experiential activities that promote community building and bonding in each cohort.
This year, new and returning students were greeted with updated classrooms, including a suite of smart boards designed to enhance the learning experience in each classroom.听 President Fran Brown also officially announced聽that MiSPP is changing our name to 海角乱伦 in a rebranding effort as part of our campus expansion plans.听 聽
Student Engagement held 海角乱伦’s annual Welcome Week during the first week of classes.
Each day, students were invited to take some time to relax and engage with fellow students while enjoying a delicious treat, including custom ice cream sandwiches and coffee and donuts.听聽
On Thursday, students, faculty, and staff engaged in several lively rounds of Psychology Trivia (the winning team were awarded Starbucks gift cards).听 And, to celebrate the end of the week, Jeff Cross, Director of IT & Campus Security, once again donned his apron for a campus wide BBQ on Friday.

During the week of September 24-28, the 海角乱伦 community donated funds in support of our team.听 The OOD walk fundraiser kicked off 海角乱伦’s community outreach and fundraising efforts for this academic year!

海角乱伦 was thrilled to announce that Dr. Shannon Ch谩vez-Korell accepted the position of Program Director at 海角乱伦.听 Dr. Ch谩vez-Korell joins President Fran Brown and Vice President Diane Zalapi on 海角乱伦’s Leadership Team.
Dr. Dustin Shepler presented Ethics: Avoiding, Entering, and Managing Multiple Relationships to kick off 海角乱伦’s Continuing Education Workshop series.
海角乱伦 welcomed back TEDx speaker Raj Mehta, MSW to speak with students as part of the 2018/19 Student Programming calendar based this year on clinical specializations.听聽
