Title IX: Discrimination Based on Protected Characteristics, Harassment, and Retaliation

The º£½ÇÂÒÂ× is committed to providing an educational and employment environment that is free from Discrimination based on Protected Characteristics, Harassment, and Retaliation for engaging in protected activity.

º£½ÇÂÒÂ× values and upholds the equal dignity of all members of its community and strives to balance the rights of the Parties in the resolution process during what is often a difficult time for all involved.

To ensure compliance with federal, state, and local civil rights laws and regulations, and to affirm its commitment to promoting the goal of fairness in all aspects of the Education Program or Activity, º£½ÇÂÒÂ× has developed policies and procedures that provide a prompt, equitable, and impartial resolution of allegations of Protected Characteristic Discrimination, Harassment, or Retaliation.

Any individual may report a concern about discrimination based on protected characteristics, harassment, or retaliation, including sexual harassment, sexual misconduct or gender discrimination that impacts a person at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×. Student Code of Conduct

º£½ÇÂÒÂ× students are expected to pursue their educational goals and conduct themselves in a manner that preserves an appropriate atmosphere of learning.

Professional psychologists and psychotherapists have a duty of care to the public and to society.Ìý This duty makes the assessment of the student’s overall performance of particular importance.Ìý º£½ÇÂÒÂ× reserves the right to take disciplinary action to include dismissal when a student’s actions are in violation of expected conduct, detrimental to the educational goals and purposes of º£½ÇÂÒÂ× or the welfare of the student, clients served, and/or members of the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× community.

The Student Code of Conduct applies to the conduct of individual students and student organizations.Ìý All students are responsible for complying with º£½ÇÂÒÂ× policies, rules, regulations, and processes outlined in the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× catalog, program handbooks, and other official means of communication.Ìý
