We have some exciting personnel updates to share this summer as º£½ÇÂÒÂ× continues to evaluate staffing needs following the retirement of two long-time staff members: Director of IT and Campus Security, Jeff Cross (in August 2026), and Director of Financial Aid and Donor Management, Roger Makki-Schramm (in April 2026).
We recently welcomed Darren McCullough to the position of Director of Information Technology. Darren comes to º£½ÇÂÒÂ× with over 20 years of leadership and technology experience in both the education and nonprofit sectors. Darren will not only be managing º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s IT and ensuring we stay current with emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency and engagement, but will also be overseeing educational technology, including Moodle and Turnitin.
Ed Klatt has transitioned to the role of Director of Facilities Management & Campus Security. Ed will continue overseeing the maintenance and development of º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s facilities while also overseeing security functions, including ID cards and security guards.
Candi Wilson, MLIS has transitioned from Director of Communications and Educational Technology to the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Donor Engagement. In this new role, Candi will maintain her leadership over º£½ÇÂÒÂ× marketing and communication while also supporting strategic plan initiatives related to donor engagement and alumni relations.
Additionally, in April, Stephanie Swanberg, MSI, AHIP was promoted from Academic User Services Librarian to Head Librarian. In this role, Stephanie will continue serving students through the support of academic and research goals while also overseeing the Moustakas Johnson Library’s staff and strategic plans related to the library and institutional resources.Ìý
