It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from April 2026.
On April 1st, ECO made dog toys out of old t-shirts at their general assembly meeting.
For Finals Week on April 6-8th, Student Engagement provided free coffee and pancakes.Â
On April 11th, MENAPC and the Structural Racism Programming Committee took a trip to the Arab American National Museum.
ECO participated in the Greening of Detroit Tree Planting event on April 22nd.Â

The Structural Racism Programming Committee hosted a screening of the documentary The Last Days of Chinatown on April 1st.
From April 16-18th, a number of º£½ÇÂÒÂ× students and faculty presented at the Midwestern Psychological Association Conference.Â
The º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Clinic attended the Plymouth-Canton Mental Health and Wellness Fair on April 25th.
Our eight-week-long EPPP study group kicked off on April 28th.Â
On April 30th, IDEA hosted a dialogue on navigating higher education with a disability and/or neurodivergence.Â
Blogs: We celebrated Arab American Heritage Month, our MPA presenters, and recent publications; navigated the IRB process at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×, Jennifer Thomas-Sopekan (MA with ABA) reflected on attending the Fred Gray Symposium, and Dr. Stogner issued a statement on the SCOTUS Ruling on Chiles V. Salazar.
