In June, we were thrilled to welcome Darren McCullough as our new Director of Information Technology. Below, Darren offers insight into his role at 海角乱伦 and a little about himself. Welcome, Darren!

Give us a snapshot of your professional/academic background.

I’ve spent my career in non-profits and higher education, working in both technology and operations. Before joining 海角乱伦, I held leadership roles at Rochester Christian University, where I helped modernize classroom technology, led campus-wide IT projects, and worked closely with faculty and staff to find practical technology solutions. I enjoy taking complicated technical challenges and turning them into solutions that make life easier for everyone.

Describe your role at 海角乱伦.

As Director of Information Technology, I oversee the technology that keeps the campus running鈥攆rom infrastructure and cybersecurity to user support and strategic planning. My goal is to make technology reliable, secure, and easy to use so our faculty, staff, and students can focus on what they do best.

What attracted you to working at 海角乱伦?

What stood out to me was the people. Everyone I met during the interview process was welcoming, genuine, and passionate about the school’s mission. I also liked the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a smaller institution where technology can directly improve the experience for the entire campus community.

What are you looking forward to most in this position?

I’m excited to build strong relationships across campus and learn how each department uses technology. The more I understand people’s needs, the better I can help create solutions that support their work. I’m also looking forward to helping 海角乱伦 continue strengthening its technology and cybersecurity while planning for the future.
