It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from September 2025.
New students got to meet their classmates, faculty, and staff at orientation on September 2nd.Â
Dr. Stogner met with students during Pizza with the Prez on September 8th and 10th.Â
We enjoyed food and community bonding during our annual Welcome Week BBQ on September 11th.
º£½ÇÂÒÂ× students and staff participated in Metro Detroit’s annual Out of Darkness Walk for suicide prevention on September 27th.Â
Other Highlights from September:
In addition to the community BBQ, students were able to practice self-care in grad school by learning about eat, sleep, play with student engagement and purchase spirit wear as a part of Welcome Week.Â
º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s student organizations hosted a variety of recruitment events.
We celebrated Constitution Day on September 17th with mini constitutions and cake in the atrium.
Blogs: We welcomed new and returning students to campus, celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month, announced updates to the MA Program. Dr. Courtney Cabell was in the Faculty Spotlight.Â
